About Us

The United States African Development Foundation (USADF) supported the establishment of the Namibia Development Foundation (NAMDEF) Trust through the United States grant making program. Subsequently, all  the programs under the funding grant of USADF were managed by NAMDEF.

Provision of the financial resources to foster sustainable development and improve the quality

of life for Khwe community members.

Current

availed N$131,300.00 in 2018 and 2019 to cover the costs of learners, driver's license training programs, and other related

costs.

Previous

reserves N$1,500,000.00, which was availed in four installments from August 2073 to 2077, to support the empowerment and development programs of the Khwe community in the Bwabwata National Park.

Potential

Donation of nine shipping containers converted into classrooms for the Okanyothi pre-and primary school in the Oshana region. The total value of the containers is about

N$95,000.00.
